REFLECTION:

Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do." (Pope John XXIII)

Initially this writer was hesitant to take this class because oral communication and public speaking are certainly not her strongest suit. However, one needs to conquer her fears and not to hide or run from it. As they say, "The easiest way to conquer your fears is to do exactly what you're afraid of doing". The class turned out to be fun and enjoyable while at the same time builds up your confidence and self-esteem. Podiums, mics and videotapes are now my new found bestfriends.
