Analysis of Sigmund Freud
Court Case Write-Up

REFLECTION:

Child psychology is an amazing class. Since this writer is thinking of working in pediatrics, one finds it very interesting. Erickson, Piaget, Freud and Vygotsky are few of the prominent psychologist that were discussed in the class. The Court Case assignment was an astounding assignment where a seperated couple is seeking custody of a child. However, the deaf father wanting custody of the child is not the biological father but has taken care of the child since birth while the mother was a crack addict and in jail. Theories of child development are to be incorporated when defending either party. This writer was assigned to be the defendant of the father. It was a heated discussion and role playing. Each student researched and really played their roles well.
