Educational Goals

My educational goals and career goals are related to each other. I have set my educational goals in three stages, since I know that I have to earn a living to support my three children and myself while pursuing my degrees.

First I want to complete my associate degree and find a decent job that helpsme move forward to my ultimate career goal. A position like research assistant or some safe-house manager or assistant counselor or social worker can be beneficial to  my further educational as well as career development.

Afterwards I want to get a bachelor's degree on Social Science and get an entry level position in a big social and human right organization that advocate for human rights/women rights and social justice. I want to continue my studies while working in the field so that my education helps me solve daily problems in my job and my work experiences help me understand theories in the context of real situation.

My ultimate educational goal is to get a post graduate degree in Social Science and work for the U.N or for the U.S. government, where I can make positive changes nationally and internationally in the fields of human rights and social justice.
