Growing up my Mom had an in-home daycare center and I was always her "assistant".  Whether it was feeding the kids or taking them outside to play, I was always ready and willing to help my Mom.  I have also worked for a BASCOL which is a before and after school childrens program which included working with the children throughout the school year and extended over the summer.  There I was responsible for teaching, entertaining and nurturing the children as well as taking them on fieldtrips. 

I believe my organizational skills and my ability to multi-task has helped me achieve my high GPA and has made it possible for me to return to school and work at the same time without losing my mind! When I made the decision to return to school I was working full-time and it was my sheer determination to better myself and my life that pushed me to leave my job and continue with school full-time.
