Earning a GED was a great achievement; I still have many challenges to overcome in order to become a pediatric nurse. I am currently enrolled in the nursing program at LaGuardia where I am studying toward becoming a Liscenced in practical Nursing.My plans for now are to first: earn a license as a licensed practical nurse on March of 2008. Upon on completion, I will find a full time job and work all summer. While working, I plan on searching for a four-year college such as SUNY Downstate College. Once admitted to a four-year college, hopefully by fall of 2008, I will then transfer from a License Nurse to a bachelor in applied science. |
Finally, after earning my bachelors in nursing, I will then go for my masters degree which should lead me toward my goal: to specialize as a pediatric nurse. For now, I am enjoying being a part of LaGuardia’s nursing students.
