Some
personal accomplishments I have are learning how to survive by myself.
I left
my house when I was seventeen and I have been on my own since then. At first
it was
really hard and I didn’t have anyone to go to. I was sad and depressed
but I got
over it. I found a good job and I rented an apartment whre I moved with
my
cousin and we both pay the rent.
I really enjoy
dancing and
doing exercise. I go to the gym
four days a week. I
like to keep my body in shape and the only way to do that is by going
to the
gym. I also love dancing which helps to keep my body in shape. (I
don’t do dance because of that but because I love to dance.) The only
thing that I don't
know how to dance is salsa but I am going to take some classes soon to
learn.
I
don’t really know how I learn best but what I know is that if I am in a
class
where the teacher is teaching something that I really like, then I’ll
learn it
really fast but if I don’t like what she's teaching, then there is
going
to be
some problems because I won't be able to understand.
I am
learning so many things in Fundamentals of Professional Advancement.
I could
start by saying that I learned how to write a resume for the
internship which
I didn’t know how to do. It also helped me because when I started the
class I
didn’t know anything about my major but now I know everything there is
to know
about paralegal.
This
is important because when I decided to study paralegal I decided it
because I
knew that it was relative to law and I didn’t know anything more about
it. But
then when I started the FPA class I discovered that it's more than
just
relative to law.
I
think that giving this class is really good. It helped a lot of people
see if
what they are studying is what they really want. When I went to the job
shadow
I really like the job in Washington
Mutual but then I knew that what I really wanted to do is paralegal and
then
become a lawyer.
